1 of the PNB bank robbers arrested-2 escaped
One of the bank robbers in PNB robbery case arrested in Jaipur.
Punjab National Bank in Madri area, Udaipur, faced bank robbery around a week back. One of these bank robbers has been arrested while 2 escaped into darkness. It may be noted that robbery worth 19.72 lakhs occurred in PNB and the robbers were not to be traced anywhere.
1 of the bank robbers was arrested from a village falling in Jaipur region. Pradeep Gurjar of Jaipur, Dayal Singh and Magdan Charan of Jodhpur, Mangilal Regar of Udaipur were being searched by police for this bank robbery. Udaipur SP had declared a prize of 5000 each on these robbers. It was also suspected that Pradeep belonged to the Papla gang which recently freed Papla from imprisonment.

As per details received from an informer, police teams from Udaipur went to Jaipur and followed a jeep that had the culprits. When the jeep was followed, the robbers broke the blockade post and tried to escape towards Dausa highway. There they entered a village where they kept on moving from lane to lane which were populated but police kept on following them. The robbers’ jeep then rammed into a house. After this, they tried to escape but one of these was nabbed by police. The others robbers succeeded in escaping into darkness. Police is on the lookout for these remaining robbers.
