300 kilos of Copper Plates have been stolen from a diamond tools dealer’s factory at Sukher Industrial Area on Saturday night.

Millennium Diamond Tools Pvt. Ltd. Was the victimised entity by suspected thieves who not only took away copper plates worth Rs.5Lacs but also had a great time enjoying the fruits and snacks kept inside the factory.

Sukher Police arrived on the scene of the crime and registered the case.

Nakshatra Talesra, owner of the factory said that today when he came to his factory he saw that the first main gate was locked but when he entered inside, he found the second door is open with the lock broken.

On enquiring further, Talesra noted that around 10 copper plates worth Rs.5 Lacs were missing and everywhere there were remains of leftover food.

According to Talesra, the first and main door was safeguard with automatic electrocution but thieves managed to pass over it. The copper plates are too heavy to carry by 1-2 men, so it could be a group of 5-10 thieves who did this, he told UT.

Ram Sumer, SHO Sukher Police lodged the FIR and started investigation.
