Udaipur,25.09.23 -  A 10 year old boy who was missing from the house since Saturday. His body was recovered from a well stuffed into a sack here at Dongla village of Sakroda police station circle on Sunday.

The dead body was spotted by a passerby who went near the well to attain the nature's call. He immediately raised an alarm and a team of Sakroda police station led by the Station House Officer Dhanpad Singh rushed to the scene and initiated an investigation of the matter, said police.

"We rushed to the scene and soon the FSL team was also called to take samples.Later the dead body of the minor boy was shifted to the Community Health Center of the area where the postmortem was conducted through the medical board and was handed over to his relatives", Station House Officer Dhanpat.

He futher said that the dead body of the boy was decomposed his hands were tied with a rope. However the investigation is still on. The relatives have given a report to the police against few people on the basis of which few people have been rounded up for questioning.

During the preliminary investigation it is found that the mother of the deceased boy Ashok was also killed by her one of her relative following an old enmity in the year 2022. The accused was later arrested and sent to judicial custody. After his mother's death Ashok was the only survivor as his father also died in a road accident earlier, said SHO.

However a case of murder has been registered by the police on Sunday and the investigation is under way.
