In a series of raids conducted by the Anti Human Trafficking wing and Child Line, Twelve children were rescued from different traders and shops from the Krishi Mandi area today morning.

In a series of raids conducted by the Anti Human Trafficking wing and Child Line, Twelve children were rescued from different traders and shops from the Krishi Mandi area today morning.

The joint effort by the Anti Human Trafficking, Child Line and the Labor department, all these children of ages between 10-13 have been transferred to the Child Welfare Committee at Ambamata.

Out of the Twelve children rescued, Four were from the Om Restaurant at Krishi Mandi, Five from M/s Paras Traders and Two from M/s RK Traders.

Mahendra Meena (10), Suresh Meena (10) and Kailash Meena (11), all residents of Jhadol were rescued from Om Restaurant including Harish Meena (13), resident of Tidi village. Sonu Rawat (13), resident of Lasadhiya village and Harish Kharachi (13), resident of Saradha were all rescued from M/s Paras Traders including Three young boys from Kheroda village, namely Kalu Lal Rawat (11), Mohan Rawat (10) and Bhanwar Lal Rawat (12).

Three other children who were rescued from M/s RK Trading Company and M/s Shiyal Trading Company were Lal Gameti (12), resident of Undri Village, Sunil Meena (12), Mahangarh and Nana Lal (13), resident of Kheroda Village.

The rescued children who were transferred to the CWC will be sent for a medical checkup.
