2 arrested with fake currency worth 1.25 lakhs
Men arrested with fake currency worth 1.25 lakh rupees.
2 men were arrested by ATS team Udaipur from the toll plaza at Chittorgarh. These men were in possession of fake currency worth 1.25 lakh rupees. Satyanarayan and Narayan had this fake currency in denominations of 500. They were carrying this currency on bike and said that they paid 40,000 rupees for these fake currency notes.
As informed by ASP Anjana Sukhwal, Constable Tejendra got the information about 2 men carrying fake note bills. Police spotted these men going towards Neemuch on bike. They were signalled to stop, failing which police followed and nabbed them. When searched through, police found that the pillion rider Satyanarayan had a bag hanging with the waist belt. This bag had 241 currency notes in denominations of 500. The stacks of notes bore similar numbers. The culprits had plans of circulating this currency in parts. Upon investigations they revealed that they bought the currency from a man in Semalia in 40 thousand rupees.

Satyanarayan is already in the wanted list for fake notes of 9500 rupees. Satyanarayan is farmer by profession and Narayan works in hair salon. Police is investigating the case and is expecting more details about fake currency.
