The City of Lakes was jolted by a case of twin suicides that occurred in the city in the last Twenty Four hours. Two young girls from Udaipur committed suicide yesterday. A Sixteen year old student of Class X hung herself at her house at Ambamata, while in another case a 22-year-old nurse employed at GBH American Hospital died after instilling Calcium Chloride injections.

Heena, d/o Sanjay Suryavanshi Nagar was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her house located at Harsh Nagar, Ambamata on Friday, 13^th July. According to police, the deceased girl was depressed due to un-satisfactory performances in school.

Heena was with her younger siblings at home while her parents were on job. The girl asked her brother and sister to play while she went into her room and locked herself from inside.

In the evening, when her parents returned they noticed Heena’s room was locked from inside. After forcefully entering the room, they discovered her hanging from a ceiling fan.

In another case, 22-year-old Hussaini Kausar d/o Mohammad Ismail and resident of Kishanpol, Patel Circle died after injecting herself with three Calcium Chloride injections. The reason of suicide is still not clear as Police is yet to record the statements of her relatives.

According to sources, Kausar was working at GBH American Hospital as a nurse. She committed suicide on 13^th July at around 5:30pm at her residence.
