A truck driver and his companion were kidnapped on the night of 27th May on highway at Mada ki Bassi which falls under Diver police station. 7 robbers who came in a government owned Bolero vehicle robbed 14 thousand rupees and a mobile from the truck driver. 2 of these robbers have been arrested on Thursday. The Bolero vehicle which bears the sticker of Rajasthan government has also been seized by police. A police team has been formed and search operations have begun for the remaining 5 highway robbers.

As per reports, after kidnapping the truck driver and his companion, these highway robbers managed to escape with a parcel containing 13 lakh rupees. This parcel was kept inside the cabin in the truck. Among the arrested robbers are Bolero driver Arvind from Bhuwana, Udaipur and Pyar Singh who is owner of a puncture repair shop in Chitrakoot Nagar. The Bolero has also been recovered and seized by police.

There were 7 people involved in this incident who used 2 vehicles in the process of crime. Reportedly Bolero owner Manohar Singh and Mahendra Singh are the master minds behind this incident. They planned to rob the truck containing parcel and planned the entire plot with 5 others. After stopping the truck containing the cash parcel at Mada ki Bassi, they kidnapped the driver and managed to escape with money.
