25 Tola Gold jewellery stolen from Dewali house
In a major house break, thieves made away with around 25 Tola gold ornaments along with cash and electronic equipment from a house in Dewali area on Monday night.
In a major house break, thieves made away with around 25 Tola gold ornaments along with cash and electronic equipment from a house in Dewali area on Monday night.
The house break happened at the residence of Mehfooza Bai w/o Allahbaksh. Mehfooza, a retired teacher had gone to Nasik with her daughter in law for a wedding. The lock of their residence in Udaipur was found broken on Monday evening at around 7:30pm. Lights in the room were lit and the entire room was in a mess. Thieves had looked at every nook and corner in the room to take away the valuables.
Mehfooza Bai informed that the thieves had made away with around 25 Tola gold ornaments, clothes, LED, Laptop and cash. The choosy thieved did not even touch the silver jewellery lying in the room.
Ambamata Police reached the spot and has initiated investigation. The police say that while they are yet to get concrete clues, initial investigation suggest that the thieves may be from outside Udaipur.
