3 Udaipur people arrested in sex-determination case
A woman was arrested along with 2 other brokers in a case of sex-determination. The three were arrested from Himmatnagar based Khushbu Maternity Surgical Sonography and Leoproscopy hospital where they had taken a pregnant lady for assessing gender of their yet to be born baby.

The arrested people Mohammad Sabir, Shamim and Farookh Ahmed took Rs 50,000 from a pregnant lady’s family and decoy for sex-determination of foetus. Out of this Rs 25000 was given to the doctor while Rs 25000 was retained by the trio.
Naveen Jain of PCPNDT cell informed that sex determination of foetus was carried out at Khushbu Maternity Surgical Sonography and Laparoscopy hospital, Himmatnagar via these brokers. Once the PCPNDT cell received confirmed information, they staged a decoy operation for nabbing the doctor and the brokers.
As per the plan, a pregnant lady and decoy along with her partner reached the designated spot at Udaipole, Udaipur and gave Rs 50000 to Sabir. Sabir then took them via bus to Himmatnagar. The PCPNDT team closely followed them.
Doctor at Khusbu Hospital, Dr Mahendra Parmar carried out the sex determination and took Rs 25000 for the same. The PCPNDT team caught the doctor and the brokers red handed.
