Thieves broke into 4 shops on Badgaon main road last night and made away with cash. The thieves have been caught on CCTV camera of one of the shops but Police is yet to reach the culprits.

The incident happened last night on Badgaon-Siphon main road. Locks of four shops were broken by thieves and they made away wish cash from the shops. The thieves also made away with a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) that stores CCTV recording from one of the shops. They also turned the face of CCTV camera that was installed on the road.

The thieves were however caught on the CCTV camera of a Supermarket where they had broken into for theft. The camera recording shows that the thieves walked into the store and after a survey, very calmly walked up to the cash counter and took away the cash after breaking the counter lock.

Complaint has been lodged with Ambamata Police. Police has also been handed over the CCTV footage from the supermarket but Police is yet to get any trace of the culprits.
