A mobile shop at Chetak Circle near Hathipole Police Station was targeted by thieves last night of 11th July.  More than 40-45 mobile phones and chargers have been stolen from Ronak Mobiles.

According to Police, today morning, Pradeep Sindhi, owner of the shop who lives in Saheli Nagar found everything inside the shop ransacked.  He informed the police and immediately our team reached the spot and started investigation.  An FIR has been launched against unknown people for theft.

Pradeep Sindhi said that the thieves have taken about 40-45 mobiles and  55-60 mobile chargers worth Rs. 50-60 thousand.  He also said that there was no cash in the shop as he every day takes away the cash home otherwise the amount could be much bigger.

Goverdhan Lal Khatik,  C.I. Hathipole Police Station, said that the thieves came from the back side of the shop and broke the lock and went inside the shop but there was another wooden gate, so they made a passage in the gate in which only a child could enter.

It was quite amazing that the thieves took only the mobiles and chargers with them and left other accessories inside the shop.

Chetak Circle seems to be the safest area at night as police teams patrol the surrounding areas every hour or two, but still the thieves sneaked in right under their noses.  There is so much fearlessness amongst the thieves that now they’re having no hesitations in committing crime even near the police stations.
