A relative, while showing the injury marks on victim’s body

A 46-year-old woman was subjected to alleged physical assault by group of men who attacked the victim woman and her family on the night of 22nd June at Jhallara, around 83kms. from Udaipur.

Lali Bai with her family reached Udaipur today and met Kaluram Rawat, Ad.S.P. to demand strict action against the accused men.

The family also alleged that even after lodging report at Jhallara Police Station and meeting Deputy Police officer of Salumber, no action was taken against the accused.

According to Lal Nath, husband of Lali Bai, the attack on the family took place on 22 June; four people of Bhabrana Village forcedly entered in their house and started beating everyone with wooden sticks and stones.

Lali Bai received multiple injuries and was rushed to local hospital and a report was lodged at Jhallara Police Station.

Lal Nath said that after they lodged complaint, they were again attacked by the accused on 23^rd June and threatened for life.

Kaluram Rawat has assured for thorough enquiry and strict action against the accused.

Family of Lal Nath pleaded for their safety and said that attackers are highly influential and threatened to kill the family.
