An incident of assaulting a police constable was registered last night at Goverdhan Vilas Police Station where five people allegedly manhandled Arun Kumar Meena, Constable, Police Line at a restaurant in Balicha.

According to Police, Arun Kumar Meena was taking his dinner at Mahadev Dining Hall, Balicha.  At the same time, five people identified as Vinod Damor, Rabinder Singh Rathore, Avinash Vashisht ( all residents of Goverdhan Vilas), Prithvilal Meena resident of Chittorgarh and Suresh Jat from Vallabhnagar  also came to the place for dinner and entered into an argument with Arun regarding some issue.  The argument became heated subsequently and the five started beating up Arun.

All five of them were allegedly drunk.  Arun received multiple injuries and a case has been registered at Goverdhan Vilas Police Station.
