Two tractor trolleys and one dumper were caught transporting illegally mined Felspar in the Kelwa-Amet area of Rajsamand today.

These vehicles were caught and questioned by the Assistant Superintending Engineer of Mines of the Vigilance Unit Rajsamand and Assistant Superintending Engineer of Mines (Amet).  This was done under the special checking drive being conducted by the Superintending Engineer of Mines (Vigilance).

The confiscated Felspar was handed over to the police at Kelwa.  As per latest reports, the vehicle owners were charged a penalty of Rs. 54,620/-.

Regular checking of illegal mining and transportation of Felspar is an ongoing exercise under the orders of the Superintending Engineer of Mines (Vigilance), Udaipur.
