In a crucial breakthrough, Hiran Magri Police nabbed 7 members of a fraudster group that was duping people by conducting interviews giving fake advertisements.

As per the modus operandi, the fraudsters used to give out advertisements under name of National Rural Health Mission and invited people for interviews. The candidates had to bring a DD of Rs 1950 to the interview location. The interviews were being held at an under-construction building in Dakan Kotda.

The fraud came to light when some of the candidates who had come for the interview suspected something foul and informed the police. When police interrogated the interviewers, they were not able to come up with convincing replies on which police nabbed six people from the location.

Basis the information from the 5 members, 2 other members were nabbed from a hotel at Udiapole.

The seven culprits are from Banswara and Dungarpur. Police is investigating them to unearthen more such cases of frauds that they may have given shape to.
