Two gold chains were snatched off a female senior citizen by unidentified motorcyclists.

The incident shook the 70-year-old victim Jhankar Bai Jain who was walking on Chankyapuri Road, Hiran Magri in morning hours when the robbery occurred. Jhankar Bai was returning home from a nearby temple.

The victim could not recall the physical appearance of the accused but one of the accused (the pillion rider) was a wearing black shirt and had curly hair as per the description given by the woman. The registration number of the motorcycle was also missed by the lady.

According to the victim, a gold chain weigh around 2 Tola and a Gold Mangal Sutra of 3.5 Tola were snatched.

Immediately after the incident, the victim cried for help, which was heard by a few nearby passersby. They failed to chase the culprits.
