Goverdhan Vilas Police has arrested 8 people including four women for alleged prostitution. The illicit trade was going on in a massage parlor operated from a rented house at Roshan ji ki Badi area.

This gang is possibly operating in more areas and the Police is expecting to round up more such activities.

As per police, they were receiving complaint of the illegal activities going on from the house. Following days of close vigilance under direction of Deputy Officer (Girwa) Ranu Sharma, an undercover cop was sent to the so called parlor as a customer.

During conversation with one of the accused woman, she asked the cop to accompany her in a separate room and demanded money for special service. The cop alerted the team ready to raid the house and eight people including four men and four women were arrested.

Out of four women, two are from Darjeeling while one is from Udaipur and one is from Nagaland. The men are from Kerala and Udaipur.
