A road barricade procedure conducted by the Sukher Police in Udaipur resulte in the nabbing of a truck carrying Khair wood worth Rs 6 Lakh.

On recieving intelligence from their informers, the police from Sukher Poilcie station set up a road block and captured a truck that was plying from Udaipur towards Delhi. The barricade resulted in confiscation of 8 tonnes of Khair Wood worth Rs 6 Lakh.

Police have arresterd driver of the truck, Ajay, a resident of Palvan district in Haryana.  DP Dadhich, SHO at Sukher Police station said that the barricade was set up following intelligence received and the truck was stopped while on the way to Delhi.

When Police found wet Khair Wood in the truck, they interrogated Ajay who confessed that the wood was being taken to Delhi.

He added that their team buys Khair wood from the tribals of Sayra, Gogunda and Ogna at Rs 10 per kg and sells it at Rs 25 in Delhi, a 150% percent profit.
