Udaipur police have conducted a search operation at the house of Riyaz Attari's house who is the key accused of the greusome murder of Kanhaiya Lal Sahu (Teli), owner of a tailoring shop at Maldas Street, Udaipur.

A team of police led by senior police officials went to Attari's rented house located near the Government Press at Khanjipeer in Kishanpol area. They searched his room and than sealed it.

The landlord Mohammed Umair when questioned about Attari, said that Attari was staying at this house from 12 June. The landlord never met Attari, as it was his wife who had come seeking a room and all the communication was done by her.  He however was aware that Attari worked as a welder.  Since his room was empty, he rented it out Attari's family, which consisted of him, his wife and their two children. Umair added that no one suspicious visited this accomodation in the last 15 days, and the family had left the house before the incident.

While talking to media, Additional SP Ram Swaroop Mewara said that a thorough investigation is going on and the police is trying to get more information about the accused from the landlord and the neighbors as well.
