Abandoned Truck carrying Illegal Liquor Found at Balicha

A team from the Surajpol Police Station seized and brought a truck full of Illegal Liquor from Balicha to the Goverdhan Vilas Police Station today evening.
According to the Police, Shobhag Singh, SHO, Surajpol Police Station was tipped by higher officials about an abandoned truck, standing at Balicha which was supposedly carrying Illegal Liquor.
Though the case falls under Goverdhan Vilas Police Station, but as asked by higher officials, Shobhag Singh took his team to the scene and found the truck lying abandoned at Balicha.
They then towed the vehicle to Goverdhan Vilas Police Station, where they searched the truck and found it to be carrying Illegal Liquor.
The Police said, “The liquor is Haryana made and the counting for total number of boxes would be over soon.”
UPDATE (07-08-12) – Dinesh s/o Lalji Prajapat resident of Avri Mata Kachi Basti was arrested today morning in the case and a car was also seized which was used by him and his other 3 (Chandra Singh, 2 unidentified) ally. Dinesh is sent to one-day Police remand.
