500gm gold along with silver ornaments and cash was recovered from the locker of Mohan Lal Mundra by Anti-Corruption Bureau on Thursday. It may be noted that Lower Division clerk, Mundra, was trapped by ACB along with a contractual employee Laxmi Lal Soni for demanding a bribe of Rs 1.8 Lakhs for providing land record for victim’s ancestral house.

In a follow up today, ACB searched through Mundra’s locker in Bank of Baroda, Hiran Magri Sector 4 branch and recovered 500 gm gold, 2kg and 170 gm Silver ornaments and Cash of Rs 19,357.

As per media sources, Mundra has another bank locker situated in Rajasthan Grameen Marudhara bank. This locker is yet to be explored.

Media sources further report that ACB may also lodge a case against Mundra for possessing assets that are much higher than his income level would generate.
