An accused who was on the run from Police Custody was nabbed from Thaukar Chauraha yesterday.  

Kundan Singh, resident of Lohar Colony, Ayyad was initially nabbed by the Police on Sunday, but he escaped from custody by jumping into the Ayyad River, while being accosted to the station.

The Police had been looking for Kundan as seven cases of different crime had been registered against him.  When he was first nabbed by the Police, he managed to escape by jumping into the Ayyad river.  He has been on the run since then.

On receiving information from reliable sources, Kundan was arrested once again from Thokar Chauraha when he was trying to board a bus to flee from the city.
