An accused in online fraud case was arrested by Special Operations Group (SOG) on Friday. The arrested man was wanted since long in case of hacking a bank account. The total amount, as per reports, is in crores.

ASP Siddhant Sharma of SOG unit informed that a special team has been formed to nab the fraudsters in case of online frauds. As per news received from an informer, Mohammed Siddiq who is in the wanted list of Hathipole police station was spotted strolling around Hathipole area. He was arrested by Hathipole police. There is a case of online fraud of 20 lakh rupees in Udaipur against Mohammed Siddiq and he was being searched by police since a long time. As per information received from Andhra Pradesh police, he is also wanted for a fraud of 1 crore 80 lakh rupees and as per Ernakulum police he is wanted for a fraud of 40 lakh rupees. There is also a case against him in Patna police station.
