A tribal girl was duped in the name of marriage in 2017 and was sold thereafter. Hailing from Falasia, this minor girl was taken on the pretext of marriage and the sellers and the buyer have been arrested.

The culprits took her in a bus from Udaipur to Ahmedabad. There she was sold to Dhanraj Patel resident of Bhuj in 1.70 lakh rupees. When the family members learnt of this, they lodged a report in Falasia police station. Police arrested Sanjay Gamar, Vijaypal, Shankarlal and Ambu and also detained a young boy. 

During investigations police had learnt about Dhanraj and Bela Ahir who were absconding for 2 years. 

Teams were formed to find out these culprits and they were finally arrested based on the mobile locations and the people they were in contact with.
