In a case of heavy scuffle between youngsters of two feuding families reported at the Nai Police Station, the complainant reported being beaten up by a group from the other family.

The incident occurred when Laxman Lal, s/o Ambalala Gameti was returning to his village Gorela from Udaipur, accompanied by Kailash, Shanker and Suresh, pillioning on Laxman’s bike.

It was when they crossed the Rampura Chauraha and were going towards Gorela, that a few young men, reported to be between 18-19 years of age, and led by Raju, s/o Bhagwan Gameti and Narayan Singh, s/o Chagan, resident of Balicha, came from behind the foursome on the bike and stopped them on the way, near the road that turns into Ramada Hotel and Resort (erstwhile Lotus Resort).

Raju and a group of young men who came to the sport in an Autorickshaw and started beating up Laxman Lal and the people with him. On hearing the shouts from Laxman and his friends, the people in the vicinity came out of their houses. Seeing this, Raju put Laxman in the same Auto in which his friends came, took him to Sanjay Park, beat him up completely and dropped Laxman at the Chetak Circle.

Laxman has been sent for medical and once the reports are made available, a proper FIR will be lodged. In the meanwhile, the matter has been reported to Nai Police Station and the manhunt for the attackers is on.
