A lady has lodged a case at Ambamata Police station against a man of raping her under pretext of marriage and then reneging on the promise.

As per the police information, the victim, a resident of Alkapuri has lodged a complaint against Kalbeliya colony, 80-ft road resident man of raping her under pretext of marriage. In her complaint, the victim said that she had a good relationship with the accused. As a result of which, he also used to frequent her house. During that time, he had physical relationship with her withe the promise of marrying her.

Because of the physical relationship, the victim got pregnant. When she approached the accused, he refused to honour his promise of marrying her. Five months back, he left her and fled the area.

Police has lodged the case and initiated investigation.
