Trusting strangers on Facebook with friendship resulted in yet another rape victim. This time it happened with a Bedla resident in Udaipur.
As per details received from Ambamata Police Station, the victim made friends with the accused Narendra Malviya, resident of Bhuwana on Facebook. They then started chatting with each other and eventually exchanged phone number.
Post exchanging phone numbers, they started talking to each other. On 18-Aug, Narendra called the victim and told her about a job opportunity at a bank situated in Bhuwana. He then called her to Mahakaleshwar temple to take her to the bank. When the victim reached the temple, Narendra and his friend asked her to get into their car.

From there, under the pretext of having lunch, the accused took the car towards Badi road. He then offered the victim a cold drink in his car. After having the cold drink, the victim lost her consciousness. When she regained her consciousness, she found herself along with the accused in a naked position.
On protesting, the accused threatened her with her life and then fled away after dropping her near Dewali.
The victim then lodged a police complaint against Narendra and his friend at Ambamabata Police Station.
