The Team of Anti Corruption Bureau arrested an auditor of a private firm of Jaipur on Sunday night over bribery of Rs. 18,000. The accused had collected the amount from administrator of Gram Seva Sahkari Samiti in lieu of creating favorable reports of the recovery adjusts at departmental level.

ASP Brijesh Soni informed that Jaipur’s Gopal Sharma & Co. was appointed for yearly audit of the Samiti in Choti Sadri-Badi Sadri. The accused Ashish Sharma was sent for auditing from Jaipur who asked for Rs. 20,000 in order to create a favorable report against Rs. 5 Lac recovery amount of admin Ahmed Hussain who in turn complaint about it to the police.

After verification, the accused was arrested at a hotel in Choti Sadri with amount of Rs. 18000 that he accepted taking as bribe. The accused was taken to Jaipur late Sunday night by the team of ACB.
