A wedding function was going on in Occasion Garden at Shobhagpura area in Udaipur. A massive theft took place at this venue wherein a good amount of cash and heavy jewellery was stolen. 

On Wednesday night, during a wedding ceremony around 11 p.m. someone stole a bag containing 1.50 lakh rupees and gold jewellery weighing around 13 tolas.

Chandrashekhar Kumawat reported the incident in Sukher police station. He informed that his daughter's wedding ceremonies were being carried out in Occasion Garden. There were 1.50 lakh rupees and gold jewellery in the bag. Since everyone was busy in the function, someone took advantage of the situation and stole the bag from the venue.

The family members searched for the bag everywhere but couldn't find it. It may be noted that there have been too many thefts in the past at the wedding venues. A theft racket was also nabbed which used to commit the crime and move to another city with the valuables.
