Car belongs to Ashok Bhandari district collector of Banswara had crashed at the new bridge at pula, fatehpura last night of July 19.

Fortunately collector was not traveling in the car that time; however the driver named bhagwati Sharma ran away leaving the vehicle. Before fleeing, bhagwati with few men took off the number plates and red light from the car to hide the identity of the vehicle.

Around 9:40 PM on Tuesday night of 19 July, a white colored Suzuki with no. RJ-03-CA-2101 got crashed on the new-bridge of pula, road towards sukher and jumped over the road divider.

Banswara collector who is in city to attend a meeting said, ‘I’d freed the driver since 4 PM, bhagwati was going for dinner while he met with accident.

Deputy Police officer Dayanand Sarang and C.I Ambamata Niranjan Alaha reached the spot to inspect the situation and took the vehicle in their custody.
