Hiran Magri police arrested 3 people yesterday in connection with a betting racket last night. The arrested people were placing bets on the India-Sri Lanka T-20 cricket match.

Hiran Magri police received information that there was a betting racket going on in Aangan Complex in Riico industrial area. Basis the information, police raided the area and nabbed the accused red-handed. Police recovered a laptop, LED and 6 phones from the accused.

Police also recoved transaction notes of Rs 1 Crore from the premises.

SHO Sanjeev Swami said that they received this information from their informer. Three arrested have been identified as Bheem Singh, Amar Singh and Mahipal Singh. Police is currently interrogating all three of them and also going through the people mentioned in the transaction notes to see their role in the racket.
