6 people on 3 bikes looted a family at Kewde ki Naal on Friday evening. The looters made away with Rs 10,000 and two gold chains. A case has been registered at Savina Police Station in this regard.

Rajesh Patel, a resident of Bedla informed that they had gone to Salumber for a function at his sister’s place. His father (Logar Patel), mother, maternal uncle (Kanhaiyya Lal), his wife, sister Kinjal, nephew and niece were returning in the car. His nephew, Prince felt unwell at Kewde ki Naal and they had to stop the car there because of that. Logar Patel and Kanhaiyya Lal got down from the car along with Prince. It is then that 6 people on 3 bikes came and stopped near them.

The six miscreants then took out the car keys. They threatened Logar and Kanhaiyya with sharp objects and asked them to hand over their belongings. They took Rs 10000 from Logar Patel and Kanhaiyya lal and snatched away the gold chain they were wearing.

It is then that the mother and maternal aunt also came out of the car and picked up stones to hit the assailants. This set back the six people and they fled from the scene.
