Police have arrested three members of Sunshine Infrabuild Corporation Ltd, a finance company, for duping more than 100 people of over Rs 20 lakh. The affected victims belonged to Pratapgarh district in Udaipur division.Those arrested are being said to be agents who promised double the returns within 6 years against recurring and fixed deposits.  Only when the company wound up its office, did the investors realize that they were duped.

A task force, constituted by SP Kaluram Rawat, Pratapgarh and his team led by Bhagwanlal, SHO Rathanjana and Om Prakash Upadhyay, Circle Office of Chhoti sadri conducted the enquiry once the case was lodged with Rathanjana Police station.

It was informed that the three accused who had posed as agents, were already in Jail at Nimbaheda under similar cases of forgery registered earlier at Nimbaheda Police station.

The Rathanjana Police took the accused, Dharam Singh, Surendra Singh and Mukesh Singh – all residents of Bhind, MP, under production warrant and were officially re-arrested in the new case.

On interrogation it was discovered that Vaqeel Singh Bhagel, Banwari Lal, Sanjeev Singh and Rajvir Singh, also belonging to Bhind were the masterminds behind this fraud and had already absconded with the money.

Hundreds of people have been duped of lakhs of rupees under the same arrangement as the company had made branch offices at Chittorgarh, Jhalawar and Dungarpur in Rajasthan anad Ujjain, Mandsaur and Gawalior in Madhya Pradesh.
