Blind Murder mystery solved, three accused including two brothers arrested

Udaipur,06.09.23- District police claimed to have solved the mystery of a blind murder by arresting three accused including two brothers on Wednesday.

Those arrested were identified as Chatra Ram, Champa Ram and Badaram Garasiya residents of Sayra village of which Chatra Ram and Chamopa Ram are brothers while Badram is one of their the associate.

While the deceased man was identified as Nathu lal a resident of Desuri ki Dhanerao ka Guda area.

The station house officer of Gogunda police station Shaitan Singh Nathawat said that that during the preliminary investigation it was found that the deceased man Nathu Lal Bheel is having an affair with the sister of the accused Chatraram and Champaram. Both of them were unhappy with their relation. The situation turned worse when Nathu Lal eloped with their sister. 

Aggrieved over the incident both duo of brother hatched a plan to execute Nathu Lal. It was on 29th August when they called Nathu Lal on the pretext of having a alcohol party. They took him to an isolated area near the Ranakpur Ghanta where they first offered him alcohol and later strangulated him to death and dumped his dead body behind the bushes and fled the scene. 

Nathawat said that the dead body was found in the bushes but the deceased remained unidentified. The police has initiated an investigation into the matter and also putting efforts to identify the deceased man. 

However the deceased man was later identified as Nathu Lal Bheel. His relatives were called by the police and his dead body was handed over to them after conducting postmortem.

During the investigation of the matter the police got the names of the accused that were rounded up for questioning during which they accepted committing the crime. They were booked under several sections of Indian Penal Code including section 302 (Punsihment for Murder) and were produced in front of court on Wednesday.
