Muthoot Finance at Udiapole choraha could have bene robbed on Saturday afternoon. This broad daylight robbery attempt has become the talk of the town. The manager was targetted with a pistol but he showed his presence of mind and hit the panic button on time which saved the finance company. 

It was a little before 12 noon on Saturday when 2 robbers entered the first floor of Muthoot Finance company. They pushed aside the security guard and one of the robbers pointed a pistol at the manager of the finance company. The manager Pradeep Singh Panwar hit the panic button without losing a moment. The moment the alarm started buzzing, the robbers fled from the site. This entire scene happened within 10 seconds. 

The CCTV footages revealed 2 robbers who were spotted at the staircase of the office and 2 who were waiting outside. Police tried to search through but could not trace any other relevant clue. Reportedly the office had 1 lakh rupees in cash and some gold in the locker. No other clear information has been derived about gold. 

As per police investigations, the 4 robbers came on bike via Pratapnagar-Sevashram-Kumharon ka Bhatta-Mewar motors link lane. They took the same route to escape but couldn't succeed in robbing the finance company. CCTV footages have been recovered until Glass factory area as there are cameras of the Abhay Command centre till here. Since there are no cameras ahead of this place no relevant clues could be derived. One of the robbers was wearing a monkey cap and the other had a helmet on. They entered the office with a file in hand trying to pose as some customer wanting to deal in some kind of financial work. The robbers were around 25-27 years of age. 

The shocking point is that despite a traffic jam in the market area, the robbers managed to escape on their bikes.
