Salman Khan gets 2 years of jail in Black Buck poaching case.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been convicted in Black Buck poaching case. The poaching case dates back to 1998.

It has been 20 years since the poaching of Black Bucks during the shoot of movie “Hum Saath Saath Hain”. Jodhpur court finally delivered the verdict in which apart from Salman Khan other Bollywood actors viz. Saif Ali Khan, Tabbu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam were also accused. However, these 4 actors have been acquitted.

CJM Dev Kumar Khatri delivered the verdict where all actors were present. Salman has been sentenced under Section 51 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act which carries maximum punishment of 6 years and minimum one year jail term. As per sources, the jail term for Salman is 2 years as announced by court.

Latest update at 2:22 says that the jail term has been announced for 5 years.
