A businessman was stabbed by a man on bike in Rajsamand on 26th May. He was rushed to a hospital in Udaipur for treatment. Jagdish Bhatia, the victim, died during treatment in a private hospital in Udaipur on Monday morning.

(Jagdish Bhatia resident of Mahadev colony in Kankroli was on his way home on a two-wheeler when a man on bike stopped him. Immediately after stopping Jagdish, the biker started stabbing him. The businessman suffered injuries on hand and stomach, the latter attack sent him into a critical condition. Public saw this and rushed him to the hospital where he was referred to Udaipur after first-aid. He was undergoing treatment when he breathed his last.)

Police has registered a case of murder against the attacker. Family members and the residents of Kankroli are agitated that the attacker has not yet been identified. They have demanded urgent action and have warned of protest if he is not arrested at the earliest.

As per reports, Bhatia had stopped this youth while he was speeding in front of Bhatia’s shop and asked him to drive slowly. Probably the youth got irritated with this and attacked Bhatia the next day in anger. Members of the Sindhi community have also warned of protest if the attacker is not found and arrested in time.
