Gopal Maliwal, 46, who owns a business of auto parts at Ashwini Bazar has been stabbed by three people. The key accused, identified as Amjad Khan, resident of Rampura is a business associate of Gopal and owns an auto-parts shop at Chetak Circle.

 
Businessman Stabbed over financial issue

A local businessman from Ashwini Bazar area has been attacked by three people over a financial dispute.

Gopal Maliwal (in photo above), 46, who owns a business of auto parts at Ashwini Bazar has been stabbed by three people.  The key accused, identified as Amjad Khan, resident of Rampura is a business associate of Gopal and owns an auto-parts shop at Chetak Circle.

According to Dhanmandi Police, both Gopal and Amjad had long standing financial issues as Amjad had to pay Gopal a sum of Rs. 3 Lakh, which was not paid since long.  A heated argument broke out today when Amjad visited Gopal’s shop; Amjad also tore off all payment receipts in the scuffle with Maliwal.

Amjad with two of his friends, Irfan and Aslam stabbed Gopal Maliwal and ran away after injuring him; they also threatened him for worse consequences if he informed the police.

According to SHO of Dhanmandi Police Station Rajesh Sharma, Amjad Khan owns a shop named M.M Auto parts at Chetak Circle.  The news came into light when Gopal informed the police and was later admitted to the M.B. Hospital.  He has received three stiches on the left thigh.

As per the information provided by the Police, all three were on one motorcycle and are still at large.
