A car was stolen in Machhla Magra area on Saturday night. The thieves managed to sell off the car on the same night. The new car owner and his partner were driving through the same spot from where the car was stolen on Sunday morning. When the victim of car theft saw his car, he, with the help of people around managed to stop the car and thrashed the car driver.

A case has been registered in Surajpole Police station in this regard. Dharmesh Bolia, a resident of Machhla Magra said that his car was stolen on Saturday night from outside the house of his uncle’s son. Bolia registered a case of theft in the morning. Police had on its part shared the car number at all toll plazas and police team also started stopping suspicious vehicles in the area. However, it was luck that got the car theft solved.

Bolia was sitting in his shop at Machhla Magra on Sunday morning when he saw his car pass right across his shop. He immediately got his shop workers to run after the car. People nearby also ran to stop the car. One Mohan Gurjar drove his scooter and stopped it right in front of the car bringing it to a halt. Crowd then took the driver and his partner out and thrashed them.

The car driver said that he had not stolen the car and he only bought the car on Saturday night. Police has arrested the car driver and his partner and is investigating the duo.
