In a shocking incident tonight, four persons allegedly held a man on gunpoint and took his car from Celebration Mall’s backside road at 8.30PM.

According to the Police, Basanti Lal, resident of Bhopa Magri, Hiran Magri, Sec-3 works as a Driver in a boiler manufacturing company, Thermax Engineering.  He was on Duty to take few company officials who were visiting Udaipur, to Celebration Mall tonight .

At 8.30PM, he dropped them off, in front of Celebration Mall main gate and drove to the backside of the Mall and waited.  He stepped outside the car (TATA Indica RJ27-1C-8950) when four individuals pushed him down on the ground and held him at gunpoint.

They took the car key out of Basanti Lal’s pocket and fled with the car.

The victims immediately registered the case at Sukher Police Station and the Police setup a blockade around city.  After rigorous initial search, the Police found the car abandoned near Gogunda at 10.15PM.

Police is now closing-in to nab the goons involved.
