Case has been registered against a man at Hathipole Police Station for selling his car by giving fraudulent information.

As per information received from Police, one Jitendra Singh s/o Unkar Singh filed a complaint against Amit s/o Padmanath Lodha. In his complaint, Jitendra, resident of Madhuban, alleged that Bhupalpura resident Amit had sold him a car some days back mentioning that the car was a 2016 model and had run 20000 kms. Basis this information Jitendra purchased the car for Rs 3.7 Lakhs.

Few days back when Jitendra took the car to service centre, he was informed that the car was actually a 2015 model and had run over 1 lakh kms.

On knowing this, Jitendra contacted Amit who promised to return back money in some time. Amit however did not return back the amount after which Jitendra filed the case at Hathipole Police Station.
