The unidentified thieves targeted a deserted house situated at Khanij Nagar (Shobhagpura) on the day of Dhulandi and took away Rs. 35,000 cash with Lacs of jewelry.

Sukher Police informed that on Dhulandi, the resident of the house Ramchandra Salvi with his family had gone to visit his parents at Boharwadi. On their return at around 4 PM, they found the broken lock on the door.

According to the FIR lodged, the thieves took away Rs. 35,000 cash, 3 tola gold ring, earrings, rakhdi, half kg worth of silver utensils and new clothes.

Ramchandra told that there had been many instances of theft in that area where a previously a theft was reported on 25^th January. He also informed that there had been few incidences of theft at under-construction houses as well.

Ramchandra Salvi is a Bank Manager working at Marudhara Gramin Bank and the ancestral house is at Boharwadi where his parents live.
