Notorious chain snatchers are back in action in Udaipur. Two cases of chain snatching were reported in a 2 hour duration in areas falling under Hiran Magri and Bhupalpura Police station areas.

The incidents happened on Sunday evening. In the first incident, a lady named Seema was walking on Sector-6 main road. Two people on motorcycle came from behind and fled after snatching her gold chain.

The second incident happened near Ashoka Bakery. RMV road resident Harita (w/o Hari Singh Bhati) was walking alone when two people came on a bike from behind and snatched away the chain from her neck. The lady gave out a huge shout but the miscreants had disappeared by then.

Police has lodged a complaint in both the cases and initiated investigation.
