-Constant campaigns are being carried out to prevent the children from exploited.

-The jeep driver has been arrested.

Police rescued 8 children who were being taken to Gujarat for labour. Children are still being used in Gujarat for the purpose of working in cotton fields, factories, dhabas, and restaurants.

Despite the fact that people are being arrested for pushing the children as labour, the crime is on the rise. Children from villages are lured by a good amount as daily wages and are usually stuffed into passenger vehicles like cattle and taken to bordering areas.

Police received information about one such vehicle carrying children. The jeep numbered GJ-01-ET-2966 was stopped by police at a check post. There were 8 kids who were offered a handsome amount for the labour. These kids hail from Ogna and Panarva villages.

The jeep driver Sumer Singh has been arrested under Child Protection Act and all the children have been handed over to CWC. It may also be noted that police is trying their best to nab criminals and all police stations have been issued directives to follow this strictly. Under the campaign 21 criminals have been arrested in recent cases.
