Child labour rescued-Agent arrested
Making the minor children work is a crime. Child labour rescued.
5 children were rescued from the clutches of an agent who was taking them away to Gujarat. The rescued children are between 9 to 11 years of age. As per reports, Nana Lal of Gogunda was taking away these kids to work as child labour in a saree shop in Gujarat.

Police control room got news about these kids being treated as child labour. Child Help Line, Anti-Human Traffic Squad and Fatehpura police force stopped a bus at Syphen choraha which had these kids with the agent. All the 5 kids are now safe with Child Welfare Committee. The children informed police that 2 kids are working in a saree shop in Gujarat since last 1 year. The shop owner makes them work for 12 to 14 hours and pays merely 2000 to 2500 rupees per month. The children walk for two hours from the owner’s house to the shop daily.Cases has been registered against the agent Nana Lal under Section 75 and 79 of Juvenile Justice Act. Investigations are on to find more details on this matter.
