A 27 year old woman and her 49 year old male friend were arrested by police for killing the woman's father and dumping his body in a well at Roliya village of Kapasan police station circle of Chittorgarh district.

The search operation began after a missing complaint was lodged for 60 year old Gamer Gadri, resident of Kolpura area.

Superintendent of Police, Chittorgarh, Rajan Dushyant said "A police team was organised to investigate the case after the family members of Gamer lodged a missing person report at the Kapasan police station".

During the investigation the police got information that a man's decomposed body was lying inside a well. When the body was fished out from the well it was found that he was the  same person for whom the  search operation had been undertaken.  On the suspicion of the family a case of murder has been lodged and an investigation was launched.

Based on the investigation report the police detained the daughter of the deceased man, Sushila Gadri (27). After initial interrogation, she confessed to having killed her father. She confessed that she along with her 49 year old male friend Babu Lal Teli, a resident of Roliya village murdered Gamer and dumped his dead body in a well located in the same village. Later, Babu Lal was arrested and he also confessed to his crime during police interrogations, said SP Rajan Dushyant.

Dushyant said that per interrogation reports the accused Babu Lal was in love with the deceased's daughter Sushila and they were in a relationship from the last 7-8 years. Both of them wanted to stay togheter but Gamer was not happy with their relationship as there was big difference in their ages. He want her to tie the knot with someone younger and near her age.

In a bid to get rid of her father, Sushila along with Babu Lal hatched a conspiracy. On 29 April, Sushila sent her father to the market for shopping. At the market Babu Lal somehow convinced Gamer to pillion on his motorcycle and drove him to an isolated area. Once in seclusion, Babu Lal threw Gamer off the motorcycle and then strangulated him to death, later dumping his body inside a well nearby. Babu Lal informed Sushila of her father's death and fled the scene once the plan was successful.

Police have now booked both the accused under various sections of Indian Penal Code including Ssection 302 and interrogating them further about the case.
