Sher Singh Gurjar,  a CISF jawan committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree on the new 100 feet road near central bus stand at Udiapol area on Sunday. The incident came to light when a passerby spotted the victim hanging on a tree. He immediately raised an alarm and informed the police about the incident.

“Police have recovered  a suicide note  from the victim’s pocket in which he mentioned that he had allegedly killed his 28 year old wife and two children on 2nd October and was now committing suicide”, said Adarsh Kumar, SHO-Surajpol police station.

Initial police investigations revealed that Gurjar was a resident of Dausa district and was posted in CISF at Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) near Baricha Power Plant. He had killed his wife and kids and was on the run since then, informed the SHO.

Body of the deceased jawan has been shifted to mortuary and his relatives were informed about the incident.
