Udaipur,13 February 2025  - A violent clash broke out in the Nangalya village under Kheroda police station circle where the aggrieved group of people pelted stone on the police team.

The incident occurred after the team of cops went to the village upon getting the tipoff about a fight between the village Surpanch Manmohan Lal alias Monty Meena and others. Upon getting the information about the incident the Station House Officer (SHO) Suresh Vishnoi and his team all equipped with weapons and safety gears rushed to the scene. But as soon as they reached near the Government School of the area a mob of around 20 - 25 people attacked them stones. The police vehicles got damaged and one of the cops Mahendra Singh ( Head Constable) sustained head injures while another Constable Rajveer Singh sustained injury on his knee and below his eyes.  

The attackers led by the Surpanch Manmohan Alias Monty ran towards his house and went up to the terrace , they again resumed stone pelting when they saw police team approaching towards the house. However the police in a bid to save-guard themselves took shelter behind a white Scorpio car and another car that were got damaged during the stone pelting.

 Seeing the  situation additional police teams fromVallabhNagar,Bhinder and Kanod police stations arrived at the village to assist. Later the police team raided accused Monty's house and have detained five people in connection with the crime. 

Those detained were identified as Premraj Meena, Nanalal Meena, Ratan Lal Meena, Bhura Lal Meena and Basni Lal Meena all residents of the same village.Meanwhile, another accused, Premlal Meena, broke his leg while attempting to escape and was sent to Bhinder hospital for treatment. 

Station House Officer Suresh Vishnoi said " Police have identified 12 more individuals involved in the attack , including Yashpal Meena,Sohan Lal Meena, Kamlesh Meena, Hema Meena and Logar Meena along with 8 to 10 unidentified people ". 

Vishnoi further added that a case has been registered under Sections 189(2), 127(2), 121(1), 132, 109(1), and 324(6) of BNS 2023, and further investigation is ongoing. Police teams have been deployed to prevent further violence in the area.
