CRIME | 2 injured in police encounter firing at Fatehnagar – Main accused escapes

The police got him and another injured gang member to MB Hospital for treatment. While the injured were being treated, Imran’s father Shakeel reached the hospital and started arguing with police. Shakeel alleged that he had convinced Imran to surrender to the police, but the police instead fired on him and injured him.
The police were told through informers that history sheeter Muzaffar, alias Goga was on his way from Bhilwara to Chittor on Thursday, following which the police set up a search. When Goga and his team were face to face with the police team, Goga pulled out two pistols and started firing on the police. Police vehicles were hit by bullets and two constables escaped the line of fire.

Two members of the gang were hit by the police vehicle and Imran, one of those who were hit, ben to run towards Goa, which forced the police to open fire. Imran was hit in this firing.Goga and another accomplice managed to flee and the police are on the lookout for them. Police have barricaded areas near Rajsamand and Chittor in order to arrest Goga. Police informed that over the last some months, Goga was carrying weapons, and he used to pull out the pistol over minor arguments, causing terror in the area. He is alleded to have been involved in many cases prior to the killing of Kalu Khan Pinjara.
SP Kunwar Rashtradeep, in his message to the media said that police were on the lookout for Goga since his alleged firing and killing of Kalu Pinjara some days ago. Goga had fired and killed Pinjara during an altercation following a road accident near Vana village on the Udaipur – Chittorgarh highway. The accident happened on 19 September near a divider on the Keer-ki-Chowki – Vana road and in the altercation that followed, Goga shot at Kalu Khan Pinjara and killed him. Goga was identified by one of the injured Chenaram s/o Prithviraj Mali, who belongs to Kheroda, and his wife Lakshmi.
Goga was moving from town to town, to avoid arrest and police got information that he, along with Imran, Sajid and Manu Mevati had reached Kapasan, while on their way from Bhilwara to Udaipur. This is when the police set up barricades to arrest the gang.
