Adding to the list of crimes that have happened in the recent past, a theft in broad daylight took place at the Rajasthan Roadways Bus Stand at 9:45 today morning where Jay Singh, the victim was robbed off the suitcase that he was carrying, while he was in the bus.

Jay Singh s/o Shaish Karan Charan, resident of Khiwad Village went to the Roadways Bus Stand to catch a bus to his village (Khiwad). He got onto bus and placed his suitcase on the floor, while he went to look for his seat. After finding the seat, when he turned back, he found the suitcase stolen.

The assets in the suitcase includes 4 gold bangles weighing 6 Tolas, 3 silver ornaments (bichiya) weighing 3 Tolas, 3 gold chains (2*2 gram and 1*1 gram), Rs. 80,000 cash and 2 cheques (2* Rs. 50,000) including other usual luggage.

He immediately reached the Surajpol Police Station where he logged the FIR and the police are looking into the case.
